In Memory of Dr. Margaret Wade-Lewis: Chair of Black Studies @ SUNY New Paltz

Dr. Margaret Wade-Lewis gave herself to her family, service, and her students. She was the first African-American woman to earn a PhD in Linguistics from New York University and was the author of many interesting books. She was adored by her students, some of which recently named a server (computer) after her. Dr. Margaret Wade-Lewis was laid to rest earlier this week.
