[Black Organizations] 100 Black Men

The overall concept of the 100 began in New York in 1963 when a group of concerned African American men began to meet to explore ways of improving conditions in their community. The group eventually adopted the name, “100 Black Men, Inc.” as a sign of solidarity.

Youngest Black Female Pilot: Kimberly Anyadike

103 years ago today (June 30, 1906), John Hope became first black president of Morehouse College in Atlanta. John Hope was an important African American educator and race leader of the early twentieth century.
