Carol Westmoreland currently works for Amtrak in its Corporate Law Department. Her area of focus is largely transactions. Among other things, she negotiates contracts and other agreements for the company. In her tenure, she has negotiated almost a billion dollars in contracts for a variety of goods and services.

Greatest Accomplishment

Ms. Westmoreland’s greatest accomplishment is by far my wonderful daughter Amber Peterson, who herself recently became a Black Scholar when she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania on May 16, 2009.
